Nobody’s interested in learning but the teacher

… and what it’s got to do with your weight loss goals.

If you’ve been following me for a while now, you’ve probably noticed I don’t really talk a lot about weight loss strategy or technique.

I don’t email you about how to use intermittent fasting for weight loss, or how to cycle carbohydrates.

I don’t send you lists of the best supplements.

I don’t preach about the benefits of strength training.

Now I could… in fact, I recently wrote an article for Healthy Living, Heavy Lifting about carbohydrates.

But I didn’t even send it to my email list.

If you want to read it, here’s the link →

http://www.healthylivingheavylifting.com/the-what-when-and-how-much-you-need-to-know-about-carbs/

But please don’t feel like you have to read it.

I didn’t send it to my list because I know my audience doesn’t really care.

I didn’t send it to my list because I didn’t want to contribute to their information overwhelm.

I talk about the same stuff every day…

and I do it for a reason.

Scroll back to the first post I put on my blog. I talked about eating slowly, eating whole foods, moving every day, staying hydrated and sleeping well. Every time I talk about the nuts and bolts of how to lose weight, I talk about one of these things.

Because — and some of you are probably following me for this reason — I believe nutrition and fitness should be simple.

I coach by the mantra of:

“What would a fit & healthy lifestyle look like if it were easy?”

Because I know you don’t have the time or energy to do complicated.

I also know you don’t give a shit about what process you use… you only care about the results.

So, if I can get you results using simple strategies — which I know I can — I’m going to simplify those strategies as much as I can.

Because I know that completing simple strategies consistently is going to get you a whole lot better result than not completing complicated strategies.

If simplifying means you’ll get it done, I’ll give you a 5-minute task for each day. Because 5 minutes is always better than 0 minutes.
