Failure Is Simply The Opportunity To Begin Again.

begin again

I used to look at failure as an opportunity to scratch another notch into the broken record of my life. Songs like:

→ I’m not good enough;

→ I’m a complete failure; and

→ I could never achieve anything that truly matters to me;

were stuck on repeat in the DJ booth of my mind. It was a crippling way to live and I’m not ashamed to admit, I’ve lived that soundtrack for most of my adult life.

Until recently.

“Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again. This time more intelligently” – Henry Ford.

With the support of some incredible people to whom I will be forever thankful:

I’ve realised I had a view of the world that was putting me at a major disadvantage. More importantly, I’ve realised I have the power to change that view.

So now, my new self-talk is to look at failure as the opportunity to learn from my mistakes and make better decisions next time around.

But I wouldn’t have been able to undergo this major mindset switch if I’d continued to work 50+ hours per week, running myself into the ground and never putting myself first.

If you’re struggling with feelings of failure too:

The first step to recovery is creating time to look after you. The Stress-Free Success Toolkit’’ contains the exact strategies I’ve used over the last 6 months to create my own time for self-discovery.
